Hardin County Schools will be open but on a two-hour delay on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
We know many parents still need to get to work, so doors will open at their normal time to welcome students. However, buses will run and classes will begin two hours later than usual.
We’ll be out checking the roads again first thing in the morning to ensure a safe commute for everyone!

We want to extend our appreciation to the city, county, and state road crews—along with our own Buildings and Grounds team—for their hard work clearing roads and parking lots for our return.

There is NO SCHOOL TODAY (Wednesday, January 21, 2026) for Hardin County Schools. Road conditions are quickly deteriorating. Please travel with caution.
