Hardin County Schools school nurses can provide flu shots to students - only with parental permission. No one is obligated to take a flu shot. We just want our parents to know that it is available for our students.

The Heartland Regional College Fair is TONIGHT (September 18, 2025) at the HCS Early College & Career Center (200 University Drive, Elizabethtown, KY)! Lots of colleges and universities will be there! Information about grants, scholarships and financial aid will also be available.

However, each family is still required to complete a Household Income Form to maintain accurate data as a requirement for state and federal funding. Free lunches are provided through a program called the Community Elgibility Provision (CEP). The continuation of CEP is dependendent on the number of school meals served. We encourage all students to participate in school lunch and school breakfast as much as possible!
