Fort Knox Area Chapter, Inc of Military Officers Association of America

These scholarships are merit-based and to be used for tuition, books, or fees for the first year while attending an accredited college, university, vocational, or technical school.  MOAA will be offering six (6) scholarships for $17,000 this year, and will also be offering the scholarship for MOWW, worth $1,500; a total of $18,500.  (Please watch for this information coming in January)

 

 

Abound Credit Union Scholarships - Howard Roush Memorial Scholarships

 

$2,500 scholarships to ten college-bound students attending high schools in Abound Credit Union’s service area.  Criteria for Applicant: Must be a high school senior and must be a member in good standing with Abound Credit Union for a minimum of 3 months

Scholarships. It is the intent to award scholarships to seniors attending a high school or college and trade school students who have Hardin County Water District No. 2 service.

National BETA Scholarship National Beta will award over 250 scholarships, ranging in value from $1,000 to $20,000 to deserving 12th-grade Beta members. All 12th-grade Beta members are eligible, so encourage your members to take advantage of downtime over the holiday break and submit their application.  

To apply, your students will need:

  • Their member ID which can be found on their membership card or on your member roster. Please make sure to provide your students with this number. 

  • To have taken the ACT and/or SAT. They will need to upload documentation of their scores.

  • To upload a copy of their high school transcript

Kentucky Farm Bureau Scholarship

The 2026 Kentucky Farm Bureau Scholarship application is now available online for eligible students across the Commonwealth. Click the link on the left for a complete list of scholarships—including KFB-administered state and county awards—plus eligibility requirements, rules, and access to the application.

The application must be completed in one sitting and cannot be saved once started.  Use the scholarship checklist on our website to gather all required information and documents before you begin.  Deadline: All applications and required materials must be submitted by February 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM (ET).  Scholarship winners will be notified by April 25, 2026.

Elizabethtown Noon Rotary Scholarship

The Elizabethtown Noon Rotary Club is committed to recognizing students who demonstrate a strong commitment to service, leadership, and their future career paths. This scholarship includes a service component, ensuring that recipients continue to give back to their community in meaningful ways.

This opportunity is offered through the High School Senior Essay Contest Scholarship. Any high school senior attending school in Hardin County is eligible to apply. Applicants must submit a 750 to 1000-word essay describing how they have made a positive impact through service and collaboration and how they plan to continue strengthening the community.

GE-Ronald Reagan Foundation Scholarship - Applications are now open for the GE-Ronald Reagan Foundation Scholarship program, which awards scholarships worth $10,000 a year for up to four years to the recipients. Apply online at Reagan Scholarship 

University of Kentucky Athletic Training Program - for students with a 2.75 GPA or above who are interested in becoming student athletic trainers at UK. Applications are available from guidance offices.

Flavorful Futures Scholarship (Sparkling Ice) is awarding five $5,000 scholarships to eligible high school seniors. Students must be U.S. citizens, have a 2.5 GPA, and be pursuing a vocation/trade, two-year or four-year program. Students can apply online by CLICKING HERE.

Honors GradU Scholarship is sponsoring five $10,000 awards for high school students who participate in a design-thinking community-building project.  You can find out more about the scholarship by CLICKING HERE.

Kentucky Federation of Republican Women Scholarship Program (KFRW) - Will grant one scholarship annually for $1,000 to a college-bound high school senior girl who has been politically active within the Republican Party. The student must be or will be a registered Republican and plans to enroll at an accredited college or university in Kentucky. Applications are available in school guidance offices..

The Kentucky Horseshoeing School in Richmond, KY, has opportunities available for students interested in the equine industry. Their 24 and 36-week programs are nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and they have financial aid available. Students should see their guidance counselors for more details if they are interested.

The Post GI Bill provides soldiers and/or their dependents with financial assistance for all of their college needs, including tuition, housing, and books. We recommend all parents CLICK HERE for more information.

KHEAA Affording Higher Education - A book of financial aid programs/scholarships for Kentucky students pursuing a higher education.  Students may sign out these books from the Guidance Office or CLICK HERE.

Recovery Village Health Care Scholarship: Offering a $1,000 award to students pursuing a health-related degree program who have been personally affected by addiction. CLICK HERE for more information.

The Civil Engineering Scholarship Program is for students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Western KY University, the University of Louisville, or the University of Kentucky.  The deadline to apply is Feb. 1.  Students can also take classes at other Kentucky state colleges/universities, with approved programs, before transferring to WKU, UofL, or UK.  Candidates must have an ACT composite score of 24 and maintain a GPA of 2.5 while in college.  College Freshmen and Sophomores currently receive $6,200 a semester to apply towards tuition, books, etc.  Juniors and Seniors receive $6,600 a semester.  Students are expected to work for the Cabinet upon graduation for each year they received a stipend.  This scholarship can be worth over $51,000!  CLICK HERE for more information.

The Civil Engineering Technology Program is for students interested in pursuing an associate’s degree in civil engineering technology at Big Sandy Community & Technical College in Prestonsburg and Blue Grass Community & Technical College in Lexington.  The deadline to apply is Feb. 1.  There is an opportunity at other community colleges as well (inquired for further information).  Candidates must meet the college's entrance qualifications and maintain a GPA of 2.5.  Students receive $3,000 a semester and are expected to work for the Cabinet upon graduation for each year they received a stipend. The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF)  and McDonald’s are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Sixty-Three (63) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of up to $15,000 for the 2024-2025 academic year ($7,000 per semester), which may be applied only to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.
