GE-Ronald Reagan Foundation Scholarship - Applications are now open for the GE-Ronald Reagan Foundation Scholarship program, which awards scholarships worth $10,000 a year for up to four years to the recipients. Apply online at Reagan Scholarship 

University of Kentucky Athletic Training Program - for students with a 2.75 GPA or above who are interested in becoming student athletic trainers at UK. Applications are available guidance offices.

Flavorful Futures Scholarship (Sparkling Ice) is awarding five $5,000 scholarships to eligible high school seniors. Students must be a U.S. citizen, have a 2.5 GPA, and pursuing a vocation/trade, two-year or four-year program. Students can apply online by CLICKING HERE.

Honors GradU Scholarship is sponsoring five $10,000 awards for high school students who participate in a design-thinking community-building project.  You can find out more about the scholarship by CLICKING HERE.

Kentucky Federation of Republican Women Scholarship Program (KFRW) - Will grant one scholarship annually in the amount of $1,000 to a college-bound high school senior girl who has been politically active within the Republican Party. The student must be or will be a registered Republican and plans to enroll at an accredited college or university in Kentucky. Applications are available in school guidance offices..

The Kentucky Horseshoeing School in Richmond, KY, has opportunities available for students interested in the equine industry. Their 24 and 36-week programs are nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and they have financial aid available. Students should see their guidance counselors for more details if they are interested.

The Post GI Bill provides soldiers and/or their dependents the financial assistance for all of your college needs, including tuition, housing, and books. We recommend all parents CLICK HERE for more information.

KHEAA Affording Higher Education - A book of financial aid programs/scholarships for Kentucky students pursuing a higher education.  Students may sign out these books from the Guidance Office or CLICK HERE.

Recovery Village Health Care Scholarship: Offering a $1,000 award to students pursuing a health-related degree program who have been personally affected by addiction. CLICK HERE for more information.

The Army Engineer Memorial Award is for general continuing education and the Geraldine K. Morris Award for Nursing is available to high school seniors whose parent is an Army Engineer (Active duty, Reserves or National Guard) or a civilian employee of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The Civil Engineering Scholarship Program Scholarship is for students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Western KY University, University of Louisville, or the University of Kentucky.  The deadline to apply is Feb. 1.  Students can also take classes at other Kentucky state colleges/universities, with approved programs, before transferring to WKU, UofL, or UK.  Candidates must have an ACT composite score of 24 and maintain a GPA of 2.5 while in college.  College Freshmen and Sophomores currently receive $6,200 a semester to apply towards tuition, books, etc.  Juniors and Seniors receive $6,600 a semester.  Students are expected to work for the Cabinet upon graduation for each year they received a stipend.  This scholarship can be worth over $51,000!  CLICK HERE for more information.

The Civil Engineering Technology Program is for students interested in pursuing an associate’s degree in civil engineering technology at Big Sandy Community & Technical College in Prestonsburg and Blue Grass Community & Technical College in Lexington.  The deadline to apply is Feb. 1.  There is an opportunity at other community colleges as well (inquired for further information).  Candidates must meet the entrance qualifications for the college and maintain a GPA of 2.5.  Students receive $3,000 a semester and are expected to work for the Cabinet upon graduation for each year they received a stipend. Daniel R. & Dely G. Bauer and Family Memorial Scholarship - For Central Hardin High School students only that plan to attend the University of Louisville.  CLICK HERE for an application.

The McDonald’s^® Black History Makers of Tomorrow program honors outstanding Kentuckiana high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, character, scholarship and community service. Since the program’s inception in 2003, more than 100 Kentuckiana high school students have been honored by local McDonald’s Restaurants of Kentuckiana owner/operators for their participation—totaling more than $200,000 in scholarships. The top students selected as winners will receive a one time $1,500 scholarship to the college of their choice.  Interested students can apply for a 2020 McDonald’s Black History Makers of Tomorrow scholarship when you CLICK HERE.  Applications will be accepted through Jan. 15, 2020. 

The American Legion Hardin Post 113 Scholarship is now available for graduating seniors.  Applications can be found at American Legion Scholarship.

The Elizabethtown Women’s Club is offering two scholarships worth $1000 to a female student who lives in Elizabethtown and plans to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. This scholarship does require a 300-word essay.  Applications can be downloaded at Elizabethtown Women’s Club Scholarship.  

The Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts Auxiliary is offering the George Crafton Memorial Scholarship to a high school senior who will be enrolling in college to pursue a degree in agriculture or conservation of natural resources.  This is a $1000 scholarship and it does require an essay.  Applications are available at KACD Scholarship.

The Daughters of Cincinnati offers a scholarship for the daughters of career commissioned officers in the United States Armed Forces. The application will need to include an essay, a secondary school report, a letter of recommendation from a community member and a student aid report (SAR).  Applications can be found at Daughters of Cincinnati Scholarship.

The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Scholarship is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:  A male high school senior who will 1) graduate in the spring of the current school year, 2) has a grade point average of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and 3) is a minority student.  CLICK HERE for the application.

National President’s Children of Warrior's Scholarship is open to applicants who are the children or grandchildren of a “warrior”. The application is due March 1 and can be mailed to: Donna Thurman, 1251 Ring Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.  CLICK HERE for the application.
Cumberland Family Medical Scholarship - We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to a senior at each HCS high school who will be pursuing a career in the medical field.  Applications are due by April 13, 2020.  CLICK HERE to see the scholarship.
Army Emergency Relief Scholarship - AER is the Army's own emergency financial assistance organization and is dedicated to "Helping the Army Take Care of its Own." AER financial assistance is conducted within the Army structure by mission commanders and garrison commanders through AER Sections located at U.S. Army installations worldwide.  CLICK HERE for the application.
Radcliff Rotary Scholarship - Applicants must come from either North Hardin High School or Fort Knox High School.  CLICK HERE for the application.
Fort Knox Spouses & Community Club Scholarship - This scholarship will go to a military dependent.  CLICK HERE for the application.

The Academy of CPR and First Aid Scholarship - The American Academy of CPR and First Aid is proud to sponsor the “Save a Life” Scholarship, offered exclusively to students majoring in the healthcare and education fields.  CLICK HERE for more information and to apply.

High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who plan to study music in college are eligible for a scholarship of up to $1,000. Students must submit a recording/video audition of a live, solo performance, in addition to academic information. 

Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program is accepting applications for a one-time $2500 scholarship to an eligible high school senior. Students must have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. 

KY Association of School Business Officials (KASBO) Scholarship will award three $2500 scholarships to eligible seniors who are majoring in either business or education. Applications are available in school counselors' or transition coaches' offices.
