What is a School Counselor?
A school counselor is a certified professional supporting all students in their social, emotional, academic, and career development. Counselors provide data-informed, universal and targeted learning experiences to develop the whole child in a diverse society.
Who is Mrs. Keeler?
Hello! My name is Veronica Keeler and I am excited to be your child’s School Counselor! I have been an educator in Hardin County Schools for 20 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Master's Degree in School Counseling, Master’s Degree in Exceptional Child Education, and a Rank 1 in School Counseling all from Western Kentucky University. I LOVE helping students become their best selves. Some of my favorite things are reading, traveling, spending time with my family, crafting, and everything Disney!
Personal Mission Statement
My mission is to serve as an advocate for all students by supporting and encouraging each child to reach their academic, personal, social, and emotional potential. My goal is to be proactive in creating a safe and positive environment that assists students in gaining the skills and knowledge needed to become problem solvers and responsible citizens. I hope to inspire all students to be lifelong learners and leaders in their community.
