Most evening Board of Education meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at the Hardin County Board of Education (65 W.A. Jenkins Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). Most months include an 11:30 am meeting the same day as the evening meeting. These events are traditionally held at schools, allowing the Board of Education to visit with students and staff, as well as tour the facilities.
The evening meeting in May is traditionally at the Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center because the Board traditionally recognizes a larger number of students during its recognition time at that meeting.
