Support Services


Our Mission

The mission of the Department of Support Services is to provide the opportunity for the schools to offer the best delivery of instructional services possible. The department does this by managing the funds of the Hardin County Schools with utmost efficiency and effectiveness. The transportation department transports students to and from school in safe vehicles, in a timely and efficient manner. The food services department ensures that students are offered food of the highest quality so that maximum learning can occur. The buildings and grounds department sees that the facilities are safe and well-maintained.

The Support Services department provides leadership to the following areas of the district:  Food Service, Student Transportation, Building & Grounds, Finance, Energy Management and the HCS Print Shop.
