My name is Colleen Higdon and I teach German. This is my sixth year here at Central Hardin and I truely love what I do. I am a Southern Miss alumni and I studied abroad at the University of Bonn in Germany and in Vienna, Austria.  I began teaching in 2001 at Stockbridge High School in Georgia. My journey brought me to Elizabethtown, where my family and I have made this area our home.

My husband and I are proud parents of three girls: Caitlin, who is a senior and Sydney, who is a freshman at Central Hardin High School. Megan, who is a seventh grader at East Hardin Middle School.
