Recommendation Letters

For letters of recommendation, you will need to fill out a Senior Fact Sheet or get an Academic Resume to Mr. Adams. You will need to get these in at least 2 weeks before the letter is needed.

3. Applications for the Kentucky Federation of Republican Women scholarship can be found at KFRW .  Applications are due to the organization by April 1, 2019

Women's Club of Elizabethtown Scholarship Date Extended!!!

17. The Woman's Club of Elizabethtown offers a $1000 scholarhship to be used at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. Applications and requirements can be found at Woman's Club Scholarship. Applications are due by April 5, 2019. Return applications to Mr Adams in the counseling office - do not mail!!!

 

19. The 2019 Fort Knox MOAA Scholarship program is now available. This program will award a total of seven scholarships this year to graduating seniors. Applications can be found at MOAA Scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by March 29, 2019

21. The Kentucky Golf Coaches Association offers 4 scholarships to graduation senior golfers whose coaches are members of the association. Applications can be downloaded from KGCA Scholarship and are due by March 15, 2019.

22. The Cecilian Bank Scholarship is now available for the 2018 2019 school year.  17 scholarships worth $1000 each will be available from Cecilian Bank. Applications are due by April 12, 2019.

24. The Addison Jo Blair Foundation offers a $1000 scholarship to a graduating Central Hardin senior each year. Applications include an essay about how you have overcome adversity. Applications can be found at AJB Scholarship, and are due by April 19, 2019

25. The Kentucky 86 Fire and Rescue Department will offer the Ruseau Goodman/Louis Crosier Memorial Scholarship to a graduating senior in residing in the department's service area.  Applications are available in the counseling office or at KY 86 Fire. Applications are due by April 15, 2019

26. The Fort Knox Gold Vault Chapter of AFCEA will award one or more $2,000 Lift Off! Scholarships to local High School seniors planning to major in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. Applications and recommendation forms are availble from AFCEA Applications and AFCEA Recommendations and will be accepted between March 1 and March 31, 2019

27. The Hardin County Playhouse offers the Galen Lodgsdon Scholarship to a graduating senior in Hardin County who plans to major in Fine Arts in college. Complete application and information can be found at HCP Scholarship. Applications are due by April 1, 2019

28. Shelter Insurance is offering a $2000 scholarship to a graduating CHHS senior this year. Applications are available at Shelter Insurance and are due by March 29, 2019

30. The American Legion Auxiliary Hardin Unit 113 is offering a scholarship again this year. Applications can be found at American Legion Auxiliary and are due by April 5, 2019.

33. Cumberland Family Medical Centers is offering a $1000 scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to seek a degree in the medical field. Applications can be found at Cumberland Family Scholarship and are due by April 12, 2019

34. The Nu Beta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is offering the Betty Hamilton Scholarship, worth $500 to a graduating female senior who plans to attend a 4-year college or university.  Information can be found at Betty Hamilton Scholarship, and the application can be downloaded at Zeta Beta Phi Scholarship.  Applications are due by April 15, 2019.

35. American Legion Post 113 is offering a scholarship this year to a graduating senior in Hardin County.  Applications can be found at American Legion Scholarship and are due by April 15, 2019

36. Hardin County Water District #2 is offering the Burton and Barbara Langley Foundation Scholarship Program to students whose families are members of Hardin County Water District #2.  Applications can be downloaded at Hardin County Water Scholarship and are due to the district by May 3, 2019

37. Fort Knox Federal Credit Union is offering the Howard Roush Memorial Scholarship, worth $1000 to a graduating senior whose family are members of Fort Knox Federal Credit Union.  Applications can be found at FKFCU Scholarship and are due by April 1, 2019.  Additional information can be found on the Credit Union website at Scholarship

38. Bluegrass Cellular is awarding twelve (12), $1500 scholarships to local college-bound high school seniors in the surrounding area of Central Kentucky. 39. Attorney Cara Wells Stigger, of Kaufman & Stigger, PLLC, has offered a scholarship for a U.S. Military Veteran, or to a spouse or child, of a Veteran living or deceased.  Two students will be awarded $1,000.

40. The Kentucky Association for College Admission Counseling (KYACAC) offers a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior in each of its regions of the state. To apply, visit KYACAC Scholarship and fill out the application, including a 500-word essay.  Applications must be completed by March 1, 2019

41. The Kentucky AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary is offering a scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to pursue a degree in a service-oriented profession.  Applications can be downloaded at AMVETS Scholarship , and are due by April 5, 2019

42. The Hardin County Cattlemen’s Association offers the Wayne G. Overall Scholarship to a graduating senior that meets the scholarship requirements. Applications can be found at Wayne Overall Scholarship, and must be postmarked by April 15, 2019.

43.  Central Kentucky Community Action Council is offering $500 scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to attend college after graduation. To see if you meet the requirements, download the application at CKCAC Scholarship and complete the packet.  Applications are due by April 15, 2019.

44.  Glass, Shanklin Graham offers a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior in its surrounding area who plans to enroll in a 2-year or 4-year institution in the fall of 2019. Applications can be found at Glass.Shanklin.Graham Scholarship and are due by April 15, 2019.

45.  The Kentucky Manufactured Housing Institute is offering two different scholarships to graduating seniors this year.  The first is for students attending or planning to attend a trade school, technical program or apprenticeship centered around the construction industry, and will award 5 scholarships worth $1000 each.  The second program will award two $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors who currently live in a manufactured home.  Each scholarship contest features an essay, and applications can be found at KMHI Scholarship.  Applications are due by April 1, 2019

46. Women With A Purpose is offering two $500 scholarship to a graduating seniors in Hardin County. Applications can be found at WWAP Scholarship, and are due by April 28, 2019

47. The Hardin County Extension Office is offering the Lincoln Trail Master Gardener Scholarship for a 2019 graduate.  Applications can be found at Master Gardener Scholarship, and are due by April 15, 2019.

48. The Elizabethtown Lions Club is offering a $1500 scholarship to a graduating senior.  Applications can be found at Lions Club Scholarship, and are due by April 30, 2019

49. The Hardin County AM Rotary Club is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior.  Applications can be found at Rotary Scholarship, and are due by May 3, 2019 in the counseling office. 

50. The Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation Training Consortium is offering a scholarship for a student planning to attend ECTC in the fall, and who also meet the other application requirements.  Applications can be found at EIFTC Scholarship, and they are due by March 31, 2019.

51. The Becker Law Office is offering three scholarships worth a total of $5000 to graduating high school seniors. Application and information can be found at Becker Law Scholarships, and applications are due by May 30, 2019.

52. The Hardin County Bar Association is offering a $2000 scholarship to a graduating senior in Hardin County.  Information concerning qualifications and the application can be found at Hardin County Bar Association Scholarship . Applications need to be returned to Mr Adams in the counseling office by March 26, 2019.

53.  The Hardin County Farm Bureau has posted their 2019 Scholarship Applications.  Applications may be downloaded at the links below, and all are due by April 18, 2019.  See applications for specific requirements for each scholarship.
