Welcome Woodland Families! My name is Brandon Bevill (Mr. B.) and this is my first year as a special education teacher at Woodland Elementary. This year will be my 8th year of teaching, and my first with the Hardin County School District (7 with Jefferson County Public Schools). I am a graduate of WKU (Go Toppers!) and have my bachelors in High School Social Studies. I also have completed two Masters Degress with the University of the Cumberlands (MAT/Special Education & MAED/School Counselor). I enjoy spending time with my daughter, wife, and dog (Oscar), traveling to my favorite vacation spot (Michigan), playing golf, and I am a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. I am very eager to work with the students and families of Woodland and I look forward to a fantastic school year.
My mission as an educator is to prepare students to be lifelong learners, leaders, and productive members of society. My goal is to focus on the needs of students, and to guide them in those needs that will allow an environment of learning, trust, and excitement. I will create a safe, welcoming learning environment that will allow students to overcome the struggles that they will face, and thrive in the success in which they make.
